I have quite the collection of Makita products from drills to die grinders and I feel they do a good job of replicating chorded tools power for a shorter time. When I first powered the hedge trimmer up I was really concerned that it wouldn't cut through anything, but it has cut everything I have put in front of it so far and the fact that you can just grab it and go is very nice! So far I have been pleasantly surprised with these trimmers.

This trimmer is great for the home owner with a moderate amount of trimming to do. Wish it was a little more powerful, but it's adequate considering the moderate price. What do you want it works ok.
